ABOUT OUR COMPANY

FHM Accountants Gorey Bray

We are a firm of Chartered Certified Accountants and Registered Auditors serving a diverse client base in North Wexford, Wicklow and South Dublin from our offices in Bray and Gorey.

Partners Justin Fitzsimons F.C.C.A. and Dave Howick F.C.C.A. are former managers of Lynch McEvoy & Co. which was established over 25 years ago by well known and respected Bray accountant John McEvoy F.C.C.A. In 1999 Justin, Dave and John formed the new partnership Fitzsimons Howick McEvoy. In 2001 John McEvoy retired.

In 2005 Fitzsimons Howick McEvoy purchased another accountancy practice which had been operating in Bray for over 40 years. 2005 was a pivotal year in the development of the practice as it also saw the establishment of the Gorey office. The enlarged practice is now one of the most well known practices operating in the North Wexford / Wicklow area.

OUR VISION

Partners Justin Fitzsimons and Dave Howick are proud of the practice they have built up and take considerable pride in the knowledge that most of their new business comes from client referrals which is an endorsement of the quality of service the practice provides. Dave and Justin have always maintained a hands-on approach to running the practice and clients deal directly with the partners. Meetings with clients can be held in the evening depending on clients needs.

FHM Accountants are progressive both with helping grow their clients business as they are with continually developing there own.  As part of this experienced Business Mentor Alan Kelly, pictured with Justin and Dave on the left joined the team with FHM as Business Development Manager.

FHM Accountant always also encourage their clients to refer business to each other and are very active in promoting clients services to other clients to nurture this which works very successfully.

ACCA Quality Checked Award

When considering changing or appointing accountants / auditors quality of service should be of paramount importance.  In 2008 we obtained a prestigious award from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) called the Quality Checked Seal.  This involved being inspected by our Association over a comprehensive three day visit.  Files and work procedures were checked to ensure we are achieving a very high standard of service. This is borne out by the fact that at the time less than 10% of ACCA practices in the Republic of Ireland had this sought after Award for which testing is mandatory.
